What does the Accounting Expedition committee do?
The Accounting Expedition is a two day event during which a group of 24 participants will visit four different accounting firms. The accounting firms will provide the participant with cases, lunches and dinners. During the expedition, the participants will stay in a hotel. As a committee member you are responsible for the whole organization and promotion of the event. You will really challenge your organizational skills and get in contact with several big accounting firms. The committee is also responsible for the organization of the AccountantsDay. This is a one day event during which students can meet six mid-size accountancy firms by means of a case and cooking class. The committee is responsible for the whole program and promotion.
What do you learn?
When organizing the Accounting Expedition, you will learn a lot of valuable skills like planning, leading a group of 24 students, and working together in a team. You also get the opportunity to get in contact with several accounting firms. Being an active member of Asset | Accounting & Finance also gives you the opportunity to get to know many new people, expand your network and develop your soft skills.
